I went on a trip to Salvador, Bahia in 2008.  Allen Batista Travel organized a group get together so we could meet everyone prior to the trip.  The hotel was in a nice central location and we could walk to the mall and take public transportation.  The group excursions were a lot of fun.  We took dance classes, went on a boat ride and observed a festival. I went on a trip to Bahia, Brazil with my wife to be.  Considering the number of people and the complexity of the travel arrangements, it went well.  We went to the festival of Boa Morte and took a boat ride.  We skipped the dance classes which was indoors in favor of walking outside. We saw some good dance and drum performances.  All in all it was good value.  Andrew Toomey
