When you think about destination weddings, you probably imagine escaping winter on a tropical island with your family and friends. However, if, for whatever reason, you're limited to having your wedding in the US, there is no reason to feel sad or disappointed.

In fact, you'll be delighted to hear there are plenty of gorgeous places to choose from. From tropical beaches surrounded by rocky cliffs to open plans - there is undoubtedly a location in the US that fits all of your wants and needs. Hawaii
If you want to get married on a tropical beach without getting a passport, you can't go wrong with any island in Hawaii. Hawaii is a lush tropical paradise that's right in our own yard. Each island has its own unique draw and personality. The main islands to visit would be Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Hawaii, and Molokai.
 
Most people live on Oahu, making it feel like you're in a city while still having a good time on the beach. You can go hiking and biking through the lush rainforest on Kauai, which is excellent for people who like to be outside. Maui is the best of both worlds. It has a tropical rainforest and some great cities with a lot to do.
 
If you want to stay at a world-class hotel or golf course, Hawaii, also known as the Big Island, has a lot of those to offer. Because Molokai isn't as commercialized as other islands, it's the best place to go if you want a clean beach.

Daytona Beach, Florida
Florida easily competes with the Caribbean and Mexico with its sunny weather and beautiful beaches. It's also likely to be cheaper and more accessible for your guests to get there, which is especially good if you're traveling on a budget. There are a lot of wineries, bed and breakfasts, ranch settings, and high-end hotels that can host big or small events. Having guests come early or stay late and go on a winery tour with everyone is a great idea. Plus, you can count on having some great wine at your wedding!

Colorado
Besides beautiful coastal places, the US offers an abundance of mountainous locations perfect for destination weddings. Colorado is such a state, and out of so many gorgeous places, Aspen definitely stands out. 
 
The best part about Aspen is that it's a perfect mix of natural beauty, rustic charm, and high-end amenities. People who love the outdoors will be thrilled by Aspen's beautiful mountains and valleys, while those who prefer to stay inside will be more than happy with its many high-end shops and swanky restaurants.

Skiing and snowboarding are the main things to do in Aspen during the winter and early spring. Daredevils can try paragliding and even dog sledding. But the less-crowded summer season has more activities for you to do outside.
